Thanks to Obama, the Number of Lazy Americans Jumps by 4 to 7 million in 2009 (Satire Alert)

What has this world come to? It seems that my fellow citizens of the Greatest Nation on Earth are getting ever lazier. The U.S. Census Bureau[cracy] – yet another giant cog on Obama’s socialist machine – reports that the number of people living in poverty increased by 4 million during his first full year in office. And if it wasn’t for “expanded unemployment benefits, which are considered cash income and included in the [income] calculations” the incomes of 3 million additional families would have fallen below the poverty line (I had to pull this quote from the leftist media outlet, the NYT).
